FILLERS FOR A YOUNGER LOOK
Young skin contains a lot of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural moisturizing substance. With age and because of negative impacts from the environment her contence is smaller all the time, that’s why wrinkles form, the skin is less elastic and tight.

Hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is an important natural element of our skin, subcutaneous tissue, connective tissue and joints. Besides this it has a valued ability of drawing water to itself. It moisturizes the skin, gives it volume and strongly affects it’s elasticity.
A sufficient amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin insures elasticity and youthfully full and also encourages formation of new collagen in the skin.
In our practice we use only hyaluronic acid as a filler and it is completely biologically degradable. It’s use is safe, the possibility of reactions is minimal, that’s why we perform the therapy several times per year.
The purpose of injecting fillers is enhancing the tisue volume. By doing this we smoothen the parts of the skin and underlying tissue, where there is a lack of tissue (it can also be a consequence of injuries), and consequently soften the wrinkles.

When to choose fillers?
Fillers are the right choice for men and women, who notice signs of ageing and want to get rid of them, because they return moisture, tightness, fullnes and tone to the skin. With hyaluronic acid without a surgical procedure we:
- Fill smaller wrinkles and deeper static wrinkles and furrows,
- Shape or increase the size of the lips,
- Shape or increase the size of the cheecks,
- Fill the irregularities on the face,
- Correct facial asymmetry.
Hyaluronic acid or botox?
- Hyaluronic acid is more appropriate for deep static wrinkles that don’t depend on the facial expessions .

- Botox or botulinum toxin is more appropriate for dinamic (expression) wrinkles.

How does the filler application take place?
- Before the procedure. Before you decide fort he procedure, we have a conversation about the suitability of the procedure, the type of filler, effects which can be reached with it and of course about your medical state. If the procedure is suitable for you, we arrange the date of the procedure, the places of application and the quantity of the filler.
- The procedure. The procedure in average takes from 20 to 30 minutes. First we clean your skin and then inject the filler with a thin needle. The procedure is minimally painful, because we use cold compressions, anaesthetic cream and if needed local anaesthesia. The needle wound is hardly noticeable straight after the procedure, the swelling and possible redness will disappear in a couple of days.
- We are available to all our patients for advice and answers- before and after the procedure. Because the procedure is minimally invasive, there is no special recovery, you just need to protect your skin for two weeks against heat, cold and UV- rays. We don’t recommend peeling, deep cleansing and laser procedures for one month after the procedure.
The effect after injecting the filler usually takes from 6 months to 1 year.
