IT IS EASY TO GET RID OF ARM FAT AND BELLY FAT
We often try to lose fat pads by exercising, sticking to a healthy diet and reducing our daily food intake, but in certain areas of the body, fat stubbornly persists:
- double chin,
- back side of upper arm,
- belly,
- hip, back,
- inner and outer thighs.
Injection lipolysis is an effective option to get rid of excessive fat tissue in a simple way, even in problem areas of the body.
WHAT IS INJECTION LIPOLYSIS?
Lipolysis is a simple, non-invasive body contouring. It involves injections of active substances that cause fat cells to dissolve. A deliberate and controlled mild inflammation of the adipose tissue is created at the injection sites. The “swollen” cells burst and the released fat passes into the blood. Thus, it travels to the liver, where it is broken down and then excreted from the body. As a result, the accumulated excessive tissue disappears and the volume of the treated area is visibly reduced.
LIPOLYSIS INJECTION COMPOSITION
Injection lipolysis is a procedure in which phosphatidylcholine and sodium deoxycholate are injected into adipose tissue to reduce the volume of fat. Phosphatidylcholine is a component of cell membranes that reduces the volume of fat cells, while sodium deoxycholate causes fat cells to collapse.
TREATMENT
The injection lipolysis procedure requires several needle punctures and injection of dedicated drug mixture into the desired areas with the goal of reducing fat volume. The procedure takes from half an hour to 1 hour, depending on the injection site and the number of treated areas of the body. The injection sites are cooled with cold compresses to reduce pain.
At least one week before the procedure, it is not allowed to take non-steroidal antirheumatic drugs (Naklofen, Nalgesin, etc.) or anticoagulant drugs (Aspirin, etc.).
AFTER TREATMENT
After the procedure, you can cool the treated area. In case of possible pain, take analgesic paracetamol (Lekadol); however, you should never take non-steroidal antirheumatic drugs (Aspirin, Naklofen, Nalgesin, etc.). They actually reduce inflammation at the injection site and consequently the effectiveness of the therapy.
Avoid exposure to direct heat. 24 hours after the procedure, it is recommended to drink plenty of water, to avoid alcohol, and to follow a diet without fats and carbohydrates, so that the dissolved fats in the blood are consumed as soon as possible. Avoid heavy physical exertion for 48 hours after the procedure.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS AND COMPLICATIONS
After the procedure, the treated area will swell slightly, which is normal and expected. As well, you can experience a burning sensation and stinging, redness, occasionally also a bruise, itching, nodules in the tissue, which are not visible but can be felt by touch, sensitivity, pain, etc. All the mentioned side effects are expected and even desirable, as they make it clear that the therapy is working. They subside within 72 hours and mostly disappear completely over the following weeks. The final result of the therapy is visible in 4-6 weeks.
REPETITION OF THE THERAPY
Usually, three to five treatments at intervals of four to six weeks are necessary to obtain the desired effect.
It should be stressed that different areas of the body react differently to injection lipolysis.
On average, 4-5 % of individuals do not respond to lipolysis.
WHO IS NOT SUITABLE FOR LIPOLYSIS INJECTIONS?
Pregnant and lactating women, patients with autoimmune diseases, diabetes, kidney and liver diseases, allergies, as well as people who take blood thinners.
CAN LIPOLYSIS HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT?
Lipolysis is not intended to reduce excessive body weight. With lipolysis, we can get rid of unwanted stubborn fatty deposits in certain areas such as belly, chin, thighs or upper arms.
DOES LIPOLISIS REMOVE FAT PERMANENTLY? HOW LONG LAST THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM LIPOLYSIS?
As far as we know by now, dissolved fat cells do not regenerate. This means that fat pads are permanently eliminated. If we do not gain weight after the procedure, the success of lipolysis should remain permanent.
Before the treatment, you will discuss all the details regarding the procedure, application, desired effects and possible complications with the doctor, who will examine you professionally, advise on suitable therapy and answer all your questions. She will also be available for all your additional questions after the procedure, so you can be worry-free.
